My two years old daughter had a really hard time at this day care. Culturally, we are not a huge fan of bread and my daughter doesn't like especially the crust of the bread. However, at the day care, she was forced to eat bread including the crust. She wasn't allowed to ask for more sandwich until she eats the crust. She was hungry and to have more sandwiches, she hid the crust behind her and teacher found out and scolded 2 year old for that action. Later day when I pick her up, the class was eating a cookie and of course my daughter was hungry and asked one more cookie and teacher didn't give. I asked why not and she explained some rules and regulations. Later day, a tiny little baby was crying in a bedroom hysterically and no teacher responded. I am sure there are other more understanding and supportive teachers in the organization but the teacher we had to deal with wasn't easy and I highly question that policy about food. Each kids have their individual needs and why they have to fit in to something that day care expects from them? Anyway, we had to find a different day care for our daughter and the one we found doesn't have the same issues. My daughter's individual needs are much respected, understood, and supported there and she is more happy child now.
